Cancellation & Refund Policy | Marocco Desert Dreams
Overview
Our refund and cancellation policy for all Morocco desert tours and private Sahara excursions lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your booking date or your scheduled trip departure, we typically cannot offer a full refund or date exchange.
Tour Cancellations
To process a refund for your Merzouga desert trek or Atlas Mountain tour, we require a booking confirmation or digital receipt. We aim to be the most flexible travel agency in Morocco, but we must account for pre-booked accommodations and transport.
Non-refundable Services:
- Custom-tailored luxury desert camp bookings.
- Perishable travel items (pre-ordered traditional meals or flowers for special events).
- Private transport fees if cancelled less than 48 hours before departure.
Refund Process
Once your cancellation request for your Moroccan adventure is received and inspected by our team, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please note that bank processing times for international transfers to and from Morocco may vary.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not yet received your refund for your Sahara trip:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement.
- Contact your bank; international transactions can take 5–10 business days.
- If you still require assistance, please contact our support team at contact@maroccodésertdreams.com.
Rescheduling & Exchanges
We only replace or reschedule bookings if they are “defective” (e.g., extreme weather makes the Sahara dunes unsafe). If you need to exchange your tour dates for the same itinerary, send us an email at contact@maroccodésertdreams.com.
Shipping & Physical Documents
For any physical travel kits or gift certificates mailed to your home address, you will be responsible for your own shipping costs for returns. Shipping costs for physical goods are non-refundable.
